These illustrations were produced for a book covering Imam Al-Nawawi’s famous Forty Hadith. The book was targeted at 3-5 year-old children and the aim was to teach the principles of the Hadith in a simple, fun, and cute way. The illustrations were kept simple, and a major part of the project was the inclusion of characters from various diverse backgrounds. A personal passion of mine is the representation of Muslim characters from around the world, as the thing that unites all these people is the practice and unification of Islam.
